The Year-End Gift is an opportunity to give above and beyond our regular giving to meet needs and opportunities in our church that fall outside of our regular operating budget.

WHAT WILL THE FUNDS BE USED FOR?
Funds given this year will go to the following*, in order of priority:
  • $10,000 // Benevolence Fund: Our benevolence fund helps Seasiders and those in our surrounding community in difficult financial situations. The funds meet real financial needs, such as groceries, rent, fuel, utility bills, counseling, and legal fees.
  • $700 // SeasideKids Safety Upgrades: Includes an emergency evacuation wagon, window blinds, and classroom door locks.
  • $2,000 // Scholarships for Retreats/Trips: These funds allow youth and adults to attend trips or retreats when finances hinder participation.
  • $1,300 // Seaside Neighborhood Outreach Events: We love throwing parties and participating in community events, and this money funds our participation in community events (like the Turkey Trot or Bremerton School District's BeBremerton).
  • $2,000 // Building Emergency Fund: Starts a fund for emergency and/or unexpected building repairs (our upper building was built in 1920, and our lower building was built in 1950, with the garage addition added in 2019).

*Contributions will be used for the purposes indicated; however, if funds received exceed the amount needed for a given project, they will be used for other ministry or operational needs.
WAYS TO GIVE TO THE YEAR-END GIFT:
  • Via cash/ check: Put in giving boxes on Sundays (be sure to mark for Year-End Gift)
  • Online: via form below- be sure "Year-End Gift" is selected under "Fund"
  • On the "Seaside Church Bremerton" App:  Click the giving icon along the bottom and select "Year-End Gift" fund under the dropdown menu.
