Give above and beyond for ministry opportunities that fall outside of our normal monthly operating budget.  
Here's how we want to invest this year's Year-End Gift.

MINISTRIES WITHIN SEASIDE

• $10,000 // Benevolence Fund: Our benevolence fund is used to help Seasiders in difficult financial situations. These funds meet real financial needs in our church, helping with rent, bills, counseling, legal care, and otherwise.
• $7,000 // Retreat & Trip Scholarships: These funds make it possible for youth and adults when finances are a a barrier to participate in a variety of offered retreats and trips throughout the year.
• $3,000 // Seaside Neighborhood Outreach Events: We love throwing parties for our neighbors in the Evergreen Park Neighborhood and friends (a summer Block Party and Halloween Party).  This money helps us make these parties 100% free for each person who attends.
• $1,000 // Foster Family Care & Support: Supporting Foster families in our church.  Along with meeting specific needs, these funds provide flowers, restaurant gift certificates, and gifts to simply say "thank-you" to these families who give so much.

SUPPORT FOR LOCAL NON-PROFITS
$3k goes to support two local agencies doing wonderful work in the lives of the most vulnerable.  Many Seasiders work and/or volunteer in these wonderful organizations and we are happy to support them financially in the work they do!

• $2,000 // Haiti Spiritual Care Fund [COTN]:  This will cover the entire yearly budget to support food and the transportation of local pastors to maintain the worship and outreach services every Friday, where the 160 kids that Children of the Nations serves in Haiti get to invite friends and family to join!  
• $1,000 // Trillium Women's Center: Helping local women with pregnancy, parenting skills, sexual and emotional health, and abortion recovery.
