SERVE TEAMS

SERVE Teams exist to provide practical ways for those in our church to serve those inside and outside of the church.
God’s love is tangibly shown as we join together to serve on a SERVE Teams.

Why do we serve?

1. Because Jesus served us and calls us to serve each other.
"...But whoever would be great among you must be your servant... even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. [Matt. 20:26–28, ESV]

2. Because we get to build purposeful relationships with others that we serve together with.

3. Because God’s love is put on display as we join together to serve.
As we serve together, the church is built up and those inside and outside the church experience God’s love for them. .
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good." [1 Corinthians 12:4-7 ESV]

If you call Seaside home and have not yet found a way to serve, you are needed!
Most people who serve on a serve team, serve every 3-4 weeks.
